Cesak retired from broadcasting in 2015. He shared a health update on Facebook via the show's page in June 2024. Jerry Cesak was diagnosed with a "catastrophic illness" in 2021 and spent over five months at the hospital. The illness was cured, but he could not walk properly and lost 50 pounds.
