During my five-month stay on ISS, and during my 15-day mission with the crew of STS-131, I would occasionally struggle with the ground control team. All it took was for them to suggest that I/we do something I clearly knew wouldn't work, but then having to try it anyway. It's difficult to be in situations like this, especially when it’s a high stakes environment like a spacewalk. Colleagues, who you greatly respect, are miles away, and not readily versed in the situation staring me in the face.
